1. Quality Material is Key.

When purchasing wood furniture, you should know it falls in one of three categories; solid wood, veneers, and particle board or composite. The priciest option out of the three is going to be the most long-lasting;

Solid wood tables are stable, last generations and are common to pass down to children because of their value and quality. Veneer tables have an inexpensive wood base, with high quality wood layered on the top. Their low-budget core means that veneer furniture pieces are good quality option for lower price-point.
